This training is recommended for users of company specific applications who wish to become advanced Excel users: managers and employees from all departments.

Prerequisite knowledge and skills
To participate to this training you need basic Excel knowledge.

Training presentation
It is an interactive training with a duration of 24 hours and includes models and case studies that are applicable in the current activity of a company.

The training approaches the following topics:

  • Data editing: using references and numbers from cells and domains, advanced formatting, conditional formatting, creating and updating links between the data in the worksheets;
  • Graphs: creating a graph, choosing the right type of graph for data representation, graph formatting, creating sparkline graphs;
  • Functions: date and time (Today, Day, Month, Year, Networkdays, Edate, Eomonth, Workday, Weeknum, calculating the difference between calendar dates), mathematical (SumIf, SumIfs, Round, Roundup, Rounddown), statistical (Count, CountA, CountIf, CountIfs, AverageIf, AverageIfs), text (Proper, Upper, Lower, Concatenate, Left, Right, Mid), search and reference (Vlookup, Hlookup, Match, Index), logical (If, And, Or);
  • Data manipulation: validation and audit of inserted data, data protection, team working, eliminating duplicates, creating and using templates;
  • Analysis and synthesis tools: creating sub-totals, centralizing data, creating pivot tables and diagrams, performing calculations in a pivot table, advanced use of pivot table, data filtering from pivot tables/graphs using slicers:
  • Macros: recording a macro, modifying and running macros.

Skills to be acquired
The participants shall acquire advanced working techniques with formulas, functions, databases, pivot tables and suggestive representations of data in Excel.

Knowledge level certification

There will be an exam at the end of the training and those who pass it shall receive a Graduation certificate with national recognition, bearing the header of theNational Authority for Qualifications.
