The small and medium-size companies, which have just began their activity, will be able to receive a non-reimbursable aid of up to 120,000 Lei (26,000 Eur) from the Government, for investments, by the new START 2016 Program.

• the National Multi-annual Program for the establishment and the development of the small and medium-sized enterprises in the rural environment
• the Program for the development of entrepreneurship abilities among the young persons and the facilitation of access to funding – START
• the Program for the development and the modernization of the product-sales activities and services on the market, with the aim to develop the public debates.

On July 28, 2015, the Small and Medium-Size Companies, Business Environment and Tourism Department (DIMMMAT) published the documents corresponding to the next programs for year 2015:
90% funds for commerce and service projects on the market
The Department for Small and Medium-Size Companies, Business Environment and Tourism announced that as of July 6, 2015, 10:00, the application would be active for registering the investment plans within the Program of developing and modernizing the activities of selling products and services on the market in 2015. The application will be active until July 15, 2015, 8:00 PM.
The National Multi-annual Arts and Crafts Support Program
The objective of the Program is to stimulate the development of crafts and small industry of Romania, strengthening the class of small craftspersons and artisans, who develop their activities individually or in an organized manner, by some associations or organizations, mainly in the rural settlements, as well as in the urban ones, protecting the trades that imply a high number of operations made by hand and relaunching the services and products made by them, mainly those with a traditional specificity, including folk art and artisan items, and promoting those products and services on the domestic and international markets.
SMEs development support Program UNCTAD/EMPRETEC Romania
EMPRETEC is an integrated training program, which offers training and technical assistance to the entrepreneurs, as well as an institutional framework for the development of the entrepreneurial capacities and increase competitiveness on the local and international market of the small and medium-sized companies.
EMPRETEC is an international program for the development and support of entrepreneurs, held under the auspices of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD - Geneva) being operational in 32 countries in Central America, Latin America, Africa and Middle East.
Program to develop young people's entrepreneurial skills and to facilitate their access to financing - START
The objective of the program consists in stimulating the establishment of new small and middle-sized enterprises, improving the economic performance of the existing ones, increasing the potential to access financing source and developing the entrepreneurial skills of the entrepreneurs in order to make them become involved in private economic structures.
A Programme to stimulate the establishment and development of micro-enterprises in the social economy sector
The Objective of the Programme to stimulate the establishment and development of social economy micro-enterprises, hereinafter referred to as ”the Programme”, consists in the stimulation and support of the startup and development of the private economic structures established by underprivileged people, facilitating their access to financing, increasing their chances to access financing sources and facilitating underprivileged people's access to financing sources in order to improve their life standard and offer new opportunities to underprivileged people or to people belonging to vulnerable groups.

Business Transfer Support Program
The objective of the Business transfer support program, hereinafter referred to as the Program is to ensure the continuity of the commercial ideas and commercial practices to maintain jobs and stimulate the economic activity. The Program will support all expenditures for the business transfer fees and charges (according to article 21 of Law no. 346/2004 on stimulating the incorporation and development of small and medium-size companies, as subsequently completed and modified).

The main objective of the Program is to support economic operators, small and medium-size companies (IMM) in all economic sectors by facilitating their access to funds in order to improve their economic and technical performance, focusing on adjusting to the requirements determined by the Romania's status as a member of the European Union by increasing the volume of activity and competitiveness of IMM’s in all business sectors, create and maintain jobs, training in specific jobs for all business areas.
SMEs Internationalization Support Program (summary)
The main objective of the Program is to support the economic entities, which are small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) of all economic sectors by facilitating their access to funding, with the aim to improve the economic and technical performance of the economic entities, following the adjusting to the requirements determined by Romania’s status as European Union member state. It will take place by increasing the activity volume and competitiveness of IMM’s from all economic sectors, creating and maintaining the jobs, and professional training in the trades specific to all economic sectors.
